I’ve got masses of achimines tubers this year and can spare 5 or 6 batches for swapses – would anyone like some? If anyone is struggling financially or in need of a treat I’d be happy to send some FOC, otherwise I’d like to swap batches of 15 (enough for 2-3 pots, with growing instructions) for:

- small-patterned cotton fabric for patchwork or
- tapestry wools in autumn shades or
- snowdrops in the green or
- bulbs of wild gladiolus (from garden cultivation, not the wild, obviously) or
- a few bob to cover P&P

Pic on my blog https://mellowfruitfulness.wordpress.com/2009/03/10/indoor-gardening/

I made a few quid eBaying my spares last year, but thought it would be more fun to barter them this year . They make gorgeous conservatory or windowsill plants, flowering all summer and are easy to grow.

Just had to say they are rather beautiful, such a sincere shade of blue.

Hi, I have just seen your post from March. I have been hunting for blue ones for ages, I have red and pink available for swap later or I can offer fabric or snowdrops in the green, I just hope you still have some left. I do realise it is the wrong time of year but happy to wait.

Welcome aboard. This was posted in March 2010 originally so you may be disappointed. Marigold is still around though, so you may not be. Good luck in your quest.

Hi o2bbbeth, welcome to DS. This year's plants are in full bloom at present, but if you PM me a reminder with your address next Feb or March I'll pop some tubers in the post for you.
