I have knitted some slippers from alpaca wool, and they have come up on the baggy size.I put them in a wool wash at 40, hoping to felt them slightly, but nothing happened.
Should they have been washed on a higher temperature?don`t want to end up with baby slippers though. |

wool wash is designed to wash wool without it felting, so you need to be brave and try, say a 30 degree fast wash, then if that isnt enough, a 40 degree fast wash. Be prepared to put it through several times so it felts in stages and you can control the results |
