|
Yesterday I made Pricey's famous pork pie for the first time - fantastic!!
I would also like to make a chicken & ham one, following the same recipe, just substituting the meats.
I feel that I could use raw chicken breast and raw gammon (from a roasting/boiling joint) but I would like other peoples thoughts on a couple of points - would I still need the rashers of bacon in it? and which meat would I leave in small chunks.
thanks

I don't know, but if you ever find out, I think my husband would be eternally grateful to you! |

Thanks Liz
As for the Bacon it is up to you, personal choice, I did a rabbit one and included the bacon and sausage meat, and it was great. Leave the chicken and gammon in chunks i would say, the colour when you cut it open will be mind blowing. |
