Hi all,

I am Caterina, Italian living in London (nearly 30 years!). Married to an Englishman, he works and I am a homemaker - after working for many years in offices. We grow a lot of our own veg, started doing so in our front and back garden but now we are lucky to have an allotment.

I am also into experimenting in making a lot of my own food, such as homemade baked beans, yogurt, vege burgers etc. We are almost vegetarian (some occasional fish meals) so we really value having our own vegetables. I grow Italian veg in the front garden because it is South facing (cicoria, cime di rapa and had my very first artichoke this year!).

I hope to pick up tips and exchange ideas on this forum.
