Looks fab - MIL makes cider (lives in a old herefordshire orchard, so no excuses) and its really lovely - people look surprised when i tell them it actually tases of apples - really fresh. I don't like commercial cider - its too acidic and chemical. Must see if I can squeeze in an orchard somewhere (huh!)

I love a good cloudy scrumpy cider, but it has to be in the right setting.

Beer really needs to be served in a Pub.
Ice cold lager on a hot summers evening.
Scrumpy cider is at its best with a ploughmans lunch in a good Country pub.

we're going to start a cider circle here a la Eddie Grundy in the autumn: many locla friends are interested and most have apple treees. One has offered a barn for the work and its aftereffects: we could miss Christmas entirely!
