Thank you EV. Just ordered some bronze wire which I think will look more in keeping.

i like the last one best as well ,tis very pretty

are the findings/beads bought in or are you making them ?

i ask cos i tend to make findings /mounts etc for stuff i make(which i mostly do for fun) sometimes bought bits might be better for me if they are available ,sometimes i could supply dpack made items at a very good price if it seemed like fun to make more than i needed of em.

I buy my beads and some findings. I get my Lampwork mainly from an Artisan maker in Norfolk and Semi-Precious stones and Sterling Silver findings from a couple of UK suppliers. The wirework findings for these brooches are made by me.

There are a huge amount of suppliers for beads and findings depending on the type and quality and of course what you want to spend on them. Personally I won't import from places like China or use things like Czech glass just because they are cheap preferring to support UK makers and use real stones rather than fake.

If you want some links let me know the sort of items you are looking for.

thanks if i need to ask i will.
i have been making black fossil tree stuff and a welded loop on a silver stick to peg in the stone for the chain is within my skill set maybe i will do some things other than pendants with the smaller bits and having looked at some of the findings stuff online it looks cheap and like everything else regardless of price.

i recon bead n black n bead n black might be quite cute

my next one is a multi bead collar but i need to focus and drill a lot of small holes
