We think we have come across some oyster mushrooms in a couple of places recently, would that make sense?
Took the surrogate mutt to one of our preferred sites on Sunday but not a sausage. Nor a mushroom. TD had bacon sandwich for breakfast though.

We've had loads of rain over the last week or so, and it is still quite warm. Lots of mushrooms coming up along my main dog walk. Saw my first cèpes (what are those called in English?) the other day, but sadly the slugs had got there first.

Found a perfect feild mushroom in the polytunnel today! Under the tomatoes. Now all I need is a pig in there... On second thoughts, not actually IN the polytunnel...
