Can we get together to design a giant hamster wheel for children to run round like mad in, that will charge batteries for off-grid use?

A powered hamster wheel with children inside is an altogether better idea.

Have never seen this, but did see a bike powered washing machine once. We went to the Rural Life Museum at Tilford yesterday and there were quite a lot of kids enjoying themselves doing washing in a tub with water from a pump.

A big roll of wire mesh bent into a tube with the ends sealed.
Scatter jelly babies over the lawn and leave them to forage.

I first read that as a big roll of wire fence. Seemed a bit draconian

I'm sure Leo wouldn't take much encouragement to invent something for Nenna, to be made and tested with the help of Arvo.

Nothing involving Chez, both boys kept busy and out of mischief.
