Radio 4 Sunday 14:45 The Next Darjeeling
Britain's first ever tea crop is being cultivated at Tregothnan in Cornwall and should soon be ready for sale. In five programmes, Matthew Harvey monitors its progress through four seasons at this idyllic estate on the banks of the River Fal.

1/5. May

Head Gardener, Jonathan Jones, recently won a scholarship to study tea - growing all over the world. He gives Matt a guided tour and a first taste of Tregothnan tea.

Now, 4 episodes has been broadcasted, and I must say it is a great series. It does tell a greater story than just growing tea, this is the story of idealism, love for the land and the people involved. Recomended listening!
