|
Whilst it's lovely too see so many beautiful and interesting pictures appearing in signature lines, too many can make threads really long, and can make pages take a long time to load for those on slower connections. So in order to make it fair for everyone, the following guidelines are being introduced for the benefit of all:
Signature lines should not contain more than 4 lines and should contain only large size text or smaller (no huge). Any colours, bold or italics can be used, but no flashing or changing text and no pictures.
Hope you'll all understand and support this change. |

It would appear that a number of posters have not yet seen this instruction.
Perhaps it may be worth making it sticky for a while? |

I think you should give people time Silas!
Some may be on holiday or off line for a while.
May be a wait of about 2 weeks the a gentle reminder would be the way to go. |

Yes I know, that is why I have suggested making it sticky for a while. |

Is the signature line the bit that appears under the post - like Tahirs The World is not Trumpton? |

Just a reminder folks that we've set these new guidelines for the sigs (which are the bits of text under each of your posts). If you haven't changed them to reflect this can you do so now, please. We really don't want to have to PM individuals - don't like typing that much..
And I'm sure it was a sticky, but I must have un-stickied it, will try and re-do it.. |

Good idea. Although I really like th epics. etc. in the sigs. (the giraffe cracks me up!) I don't have broadband and stuff sometimes seems to take forever to arrive. |
