Cats take a time to tolerate other animals.

They are jealous and always want to be top dog

How's this for an ex feral ??

What is it about the feral cats of West Wales - the're all white with black blobs (for the blokes) or tabby blobs (for the girlies). Our two are almost identical to yours.
Somewhere there must have been some uber-tomcat who spread his seed far and wide!

New neighbour (well down the road, past the cow sign, left at the brook .. etc etc) brought some cats with her and one of those is almost identical to henry too.

Yup some very fertile, very happy tom cat has a lot to answer for

Are yours good hunters too? Henry is extremely capable. He will dispapear into the fields when the moles start their earhtmoving construction programmes and will sit by the mounds absolutely still.

The only time he will come home then is when he has fished a mole out and you find its hapless body near the back door.

Squirrels, Rabbits almost his size, rats as and when hamsters (any smaller hapless rodent) swifts on the wing (beast) and now and again a thrush or robin, which I will always take off him and I have to bury them for some reason, usually under some nice plant.

He once brought a half dead rat in and plonked it on my OH's chest when he was fast asleep in bed.

I have a condition that does not allow me much sleep, so I was in front of the computer in the front room when I first heard new words that were regards felines, or more accurately a certain feline called Henry (well not at the precise moment you understand)

I got up to see what was going on to find OH starkers trotting out the back door with this half dead rat, grabbing the shovel to finish the rat off.

If Henry had hung about he probably would have had a shovel hat as well.

I daresay i would not have found this situation in the least amusing if it had been me that was offered the midnight feast.

The OH would not have it that he only did it because he loved his daddy so much!!

Ain't our animals just wonderful almost as nice as OH's.

*dies* They're so adorable, I wish I could take them in. Mine would eat them though, not to mention giving them all flu.
