His mum's a bit uncomfortable and has to have injections for three days which she hates but she's settled and eating OK. It's a blooming shame she can't feed him.

He'sa strong wee thing, thriving, walking and toilet training has now started in earnest...

Aaaw, poor little thing.

Are you going to do a Clooney and let him live in the house with you?

We're really sorry to say that the little piglet died today.

When I tied his unbilical cord, I flushed it out and cleaned it with anti-bacterial solution, but the septicemia from his mother must have got into his bloodstream and he just faded away.

Becky, you mentioned that it was swollen, well it became worse and went dark and by that time the damage was done. Poor wee mite.

We're planting some fruit trees tomorrow, so hey ho, life goes on... (I want to scream really - life's a bummer sometimes ... )

Peggy's perking up just fine.

Thanks for all your supportive comments and advice.

Sorry about the little un . Do you know what has caused the problems? How long have you had the sow? Cords are a tricky thing, i do them as soon as possible, a quick suckle then straight away.
