I was thinking that this should appeal way beyond Downsizer, and that such a printed publication could be a useful fundraiser/self-financing publicity vehicle.

Said publication will happen, eventually, off my own back, maybe one day when I'm not all worded out with work.

For the moment, the Downsizer version will be free, and will contain whatever people want to cotribute really.

So, if we start with one a week?

I'm up for helping Cab. And I think one a week - 52 in total is quite enough to be aiming for.

Fair dooze!

I was thinking that a printed calendar (a la Tittch, well, kind of ) was what was intended...

However, a download needn't have the costs of a print run, and so could easily be free.

Maybe even encourage a photo-forage? Hence ID confirmation, (so feedback on ID instructions), and hopefully enough decent photos to enable some really good ones to be selected?

I should be head of IBM or something, I say 'could you all go and do X for me?', and lo and behold, people appear in all corners saying what a great idea X is, and how they are going to do X for me.

I'm clearly destined for great things. Systems analysis - get thee behind me!

An inspired idea... An excellent possibility for a Downsizer download.

I thought there could maybe be a big online one - pretty much composed of something like the spread sheet I will be working on in a minute And a smaller printable one with the forage of the weeks that people could print out and use as a calendar on the wall.

They open for me - I did them on the Vista laptop - but I just tried one on the Mac and it worked.

Anyone else can't open them?

Actually, I meant a printed calender too!
Thats what I meant when I said it would add to the downsizer coffers.
I'd be happy with whatever but a printed calender would be a great gift to give

If there's a serious move toward a printed calendar I'll cost it, assist with the design and do the press layout...

Well, it ain't like we'll have one ready in time for this January

For the moment lets get a 'weekly forage' with advice on finding, identifying, using, etc., while working on the lists.
