They're brill - I especially like the tartan one.
Advent calendars and boxes are lovely too - but I don't have the patience for that kinda thing. I'm sure I'd cut my finger off if I tried that!

Cushions for friend who had not long moved house, The back one is piped.
Bolster for my mum, the cording on the ends took ages.

I've just been sewing some last minute stocking stuffer type gifts. A lavender sachet with dried lavender from the farm. A couple rubber band tailed mice with catnip from the garden, and having gotten bored with the usual mouse look, I'm now making a much more inappropriate catnip object for my brother's kitten. |

ermm..... fairly inappropriate. We'll just consider it a fertility symbol for my relatively recently married brother.
The funny part will be when he receives a homemade gift, that I will swear is just my new design for a mouse They'll be the ones that are being inappropriate considering it to look like anything else
(don't worry, my mother is a sex ed. teacher, the whole family has a very progressive sense of humor) |
