i know this is supposed to be more what you can bring than what you can ask for but hey ho what have i to loose?
just wondering if anyone has any jars? i know jars are like gold dust to most dsers but i have just got a new jam book
i will bring some preserves i have already made for any one who wants them. also i will be thinning out the herbal in work so may have some herbs if needed |
Just looking on greed bay and noticed 24, 8oz jars at 14.99 is this a good deal or will old jam jars do the trick? |

Me asking for stuff.......I would love some large size crochet needles I need a 5 and anything above a 6. I have some spares of the smaller sizes if people want them? Fabric would also be absolutely super! Ooh I also have some spare green wool if anyone wants that as well as a small bottle of pure neem tree oil from Kenya. It's made by this little cooperative near where I live.
Edited to add: I also have quite a few knitting needles. |

You can have any number of hideous curtain poles bought by the score by my mother-in-law (Nick Howe has seen them and can attest to their naffness). |
Ah, we may be able to find a home for some, naffness not an issue in the children's rooms |
They're not that bad. Simple black poles, with crackled glass balls at either end, iirc. I think what irked our Welsh dwelling friends was simply the quantity of them, and the curtain-pole miles involved in acquiring these treasures. |

They don't sound as naff as the one in our spare room, what sizes are they? |

Dunno. 25mm poles, and about 6 foot lengths? And they might have been silver.
Gervase, you could be on a winner here. Perhaps you could swop them for some ducks. |
