Right. Where and when? I've got a smashing little village hall by here and there are several of us who would (I'm sure) be happy to put people up...

Is this weekend a bit too early?

We must arrange 'the other thing' too Mochyn. |

Sadly this weekend is Ludlow food & drink fest: we'll be up to our ears in a guest and lots of food and drink...
Yes: 'the other' is becoming more urgent... (Behave, NL). Especially if you want knitting done in time for mid-winter. |

The word 'sadly' and food and drink fest surely shouldn't appear in the same sentence ?
I have fond recollections of eating lots of different puddings in a church in Ludlow a couple of years ago at the foot fest.
Will organise a date with you for 't'other thing' in the next couple of weeks. I just want to finish off all frames and prep for the exhibition in Oct, then I can take a tiny breather before seriously getting on with work for the next.
Will pm you with days to see when suits you.

Ooops.
No, I didn't know Ludlow had a foot festival either ...
That should have been FOOD, as you might have guessed

We'll be up for that methinks, you thinking November-time? Can't do first weekend in December, that's it right now though, until the Christmas party invites come flooding in of course |

Hmm, do we allow those who've emigrated over the border? |

By hte way: thanks to the sticky fairy!
I'll give this a few more days for more folk to jump in, then I can book the hall (it takes up to 60 people sitting down) for the last weekend in November unless I hear otherwise... |

What I'm thinking is a bring and share: you bring it, we'll share it! Small financial contributions for hire of the hall. I can get it for the Saturday and Sunday if that sounds like a good idea. The hall has a main room, good kitchen and loos. Too small for dancing (sadly) but it's very comfortable.
We can be more formal about who brings what if people like, a la last year's Earwig Convention. We'll see as we get nearer the date.
I'll provisionally book it, shall I? |

Quick change to the weekend before that: the last weekend is Ludlow Medieval Fair which we never miss...
Unless anyone has any better ideas... |
