Umm. Just don't open a downsizer window/tab in your browser. You can turn off notifications and so on in your profile. |

Sorry to hear that you wish to leave. There's a button to the left of the page that says 'log out', that is sufficient as far as I'm aware.

But you can't leave... we've got you now. There is no escape
Mwah ha ha ha. Or other badly spelled maniacal laughter. |

Pay no mind to HL, he's (mostly) harmless.
There's no real need to 'leave' leave, is there? Well, unless you wanted to stop yourself from posting I suppose, but even if you did that there's nothing other than your self-will to prevent you from lurking. Just log out & go for a bit of a stroll till you're ready to come back again. People often do you know! |

There's a button with an 'x' in it at the top of this window. Click that. |

It's very easy to leave a forum, you just stop visiting it.
Then the option is open should you wish to return. I came back too and realised I hadn't posted in about 3 years! (not that I 'left' exactly, I just didn't have the time for loads of different forums). |

This is probably a more sensible question than some might think. If you are not that technical you may want to ensure that e-mail topic notifications stop arriving, and not be too sure how to stop that. |

True, but if you're not posting then you don't get the notifications in any case. |

Just do a good bit of inappropriate swearing - it works for me! |
