Where on earth can I buy a small amount of ground pumice? The smallest amount I,ve found for sale is 350g.It might be easier to bash a pumice stone with a hammer.
Also, in the rose and almond soap, did you use ground almonds Sally? |

I think my pumice came from the Soap Kitchen You could also try coarse sea salt for a scrubby effect. Yep, ordinary culinary ground almonds work fine |

Did Cab or someone suggest Gin and Tonic soap with lemon oil and Juniper berries somewhere? I can't find it... I've got them but need to know rough quantities and how fine to grind the juniper.... before I do this tomorrow morning! |

Thank you so much for this thread. Somehow my wife, who normally doesn't bother with the forums, got hold of it and I am now living with a kitchen covered in bits of soap and I am convinced that all my food for the rest of the week is going to taste of soap. You would not believe the mess someone who never even reached five foot can make.

My husband would! When I first made soap, he came in, took one look at the kitchen (covered in little bottles and potions, I admit) and announced he was going to the pub, and would I please call him when I had finished concocting, and it was safe to come home. |

A man after my own heart, trouble is the nearest pub to me is 3 miles away and i don't know if it's far enough
