I'm afraid I'm going to resist changing the text to something longer like "publishing sign-in" or something along those lines - it renders the menu imbalanced IMHO.
There has always been a login link on the front page - although admittedly this wasn't in such a prime location as it is now. Perhaps we could adjust the text on the sign-in page to make its purpose clear, and distinguish it from the forum login.

That would work - could you put a link to the forum sign in on that page?
"This page is for editorial sign-in, to sign into the forum please got to this page"
Presumably it's not a big issue if no-one but me has commented on it, but I do think a small adjustment would help make things clearer. |
