Strawberry coulis. Absolutely delicious with vanilla ice cream, over pound cake, whatever. Freezes very well too.

added to muesli, sprinkled over porridge, Eton mess, added to home made icecream, salads, Apple crumble, blitzed to a powder and used likecsherbert.
Or puree them with an equal puantity of stewed apple and dry the in a sheet for fruit leathers to just snack on.

are you sure? my 8 year od daughter could talk the ears off a donkey, I am sure she could be used to de-sensitise you.

Very sure. Children are unhygienic. The thought of them makes me itch... kind of like red mite does.

Dry some. Slice them thin and then put them on a rack over the Aga (other huge stoves are available).
