23 Rabbits free ish to good homeNo its not me who is selling them one of my clients is selling up her rabbits as she doesnt have enough time for them. She would prefer the whole lot to go at once, cages included all for free (except 2 that will cost a little).
She breeds dwarf lops colours and markings as follows: chocolate fox/otter and pure choc, liliac fox/otter and pure lilac, black fox/otter, , pure black, the wild colour, think that is it.
There are 23 left.... i re-homed 4 of them and mum had 1 doe too.
If your interested i could possible bring some to the welsh downsizer meet, but you will need to ring up the owner first and ok it with her.
She lives near ffostrasol.

oh Pel, I hope they all find good homes - I am not in a position to take any (1 house rabbit already and too far away) but I would if I could.

Do dwarf lops eat well?

That's what I was thinking. They're quite small though, aren't they?
Edit ... I meant, if one took some of these as breeding stock - I did note that you had 'good home' in the title rather than 'large pot'!

They're not big but neither are squirrels---certainly enough to use bulked out with veg. I don't know whether I've been unfortunate but I've never found dwarf rabbits to have such a good temperament as medium breeds---but I might just have been unlucky---they certainly eat less and mature quicker.

I'm planning on eating mine.... well when they have a litter, the ones that arent breed standard/pet standard/don't sell i will eat. They arent that small, i have one rex as well and they are probably the same size as that.
Be no harm in eating the free ones either, ring her up and have a chat chez, perhaps not mentioning the eating part... she didnt seem to keen on me saying what i'm doing with them, well the little ones when bred.
These have once been well handled, so arent too bad with the temparment.. do need some extra cuddles tho to bring them back to less of a scaredy cat.
As in you can stroke them in the hutch, and they budge out the way when cleaning and don't try and escape.
