Pontrhydfendigaid is nice - lots of red kites round there.

looks fab..after having the surveyor round today to value the house im wondering where i might end up...hmmmm
Nanny

it does look very nice but rather smaller than here even.....the price is good but i think an extension would almost be a necessity

i don't think i could go much smaller than i am now without feeling like Alice in Wonderland...........
Chez

I'd love it. Just think of all the stuff you'd have to throw away to fit in to it - it would be fantastically liberating!

Very high up though, by the looks of it?

Swap you? Mr Woodsprite could use up some of his wood collection on the stove Smile.

Laughing Laughing Laughing Not sure that Severn Trent would be too happy with Arvo's borehole excavations, we live right next to a pumping station. Laughing Laughing

Smile. Some kind of hot-power equivalent, then? Laughing

The two of us currently live in a two bed bungalow and one bedroom is really a shed/store so we'd be fine. That's one of the main problems we've found while house hunting somewhere with land, the houses tend to be much too big. I want a decent bit of land not a five bed mansion.

Shame this one isn't in a different areas with some more land. Laughing
VSS

we have the opposite problem - lots of land and only two bedrooms for five of us.
Cathryn

This one is in a lovely area, somewhat remote, very beautiful, about half an hour from the coast.

Now if someone fancies buying a big house with not much land within a mile of the beach I think I could have a plan... Smile
Nanny

having crammed a three bedroom house with 2 outhouses into a 1 bedroom and broom cupboard house with no living room and upped the animal quota, i feel i would like a bit more space

mind you....it is great for getting you outside as you feel too cramped inside to stay there apart for in the evening.....

Sounds lovely - DP is currently going 'wahhhhhh' as he was sent details of 3 beds with 6 acres less than 10 miles from the mainline to swindon somewhere in Wales today.... for 165K...

.... I think he has woken up to what he 'lost' by moving from semi-rural south east village, to here...

He's pushing on with the DIY though.

Helen_A who is confused because she thought her DP wanted suburbia but is now wondering if he has changed his mind.
