Programme I think - the error report said it was software related. However, Media Player isn't recognising my cd burner either so maybe it's hardware

Probably hardware - that happened to me, too, and when I changed out the drive it was fine.
I've got this one pencilled in for my next build, but you can get slightly cheaper if you can do without LightScribe. |

Try www.svp.co.uk for drives & media. Cant see the point of light scrib as the media costs more than printable & printable cd / dvd is in full photo colour not just shades of off grey. Printers are cheap too.
Personaly like Panasonic as they seem to eat the most types of media most software supports them & updates are fast & furious. Justme |
