A nice day today...showing off photos from my new camera!i mentioned in my 'please help me identify these plants' post that i took some photo's of edinburgh castle today when i was out and i also took some of my 3 year old daughter with her 'new' (well new to her) bike that we gave her today so i thought i'd show them off since i just got this camera and i'm enjoying it so much
I call this one 'Rider in the Sky' can't remember the name of the monument 
my 3.5 year old daughter on her first bike ride!

the camera is charged up so i think me, dd, her bike and the camera will be heading out after lunch to go for a nature walk/ride

I was brought up in Auchinairn, north of Glasgow but I've been here in the Dordogne in France for about 14 years. Talking photos... Have you tried sharing your pics with pals - or for in here? I've started to use www.photobox.co.uk and you can put a link in and invite people to look at your albums. thanks for the tip about photobox, i actually have a few accounts with photobucket but if i need another one i'll try photobox! once i get the photo's i'm adding now on i'll put a link 
as for resolution... i used to think i was a crap photographer, then i realised my composition is good but it's the camera that was awful. can't go too wrong with my new fuji, it's a 6.0 megapixel, it makes darn near everything look brilliant
