Airlocks and wineI have just noticed that the water has emptied out of a couple of the airlocks (and there isn't much in a couple of the others). This could be a problem, yeah?
They are under the stairs with the vacuum cleaner. I haven't been there for a long time. Visitors coming.

Top them back up, and you will be able to see what stage they are at.
What's a vacuum cleaner?

It's possible that without water in the air lock the wine could become tainted. It's happened to me but my homemade wine always tastes so bad I could never tell the difference.
I suggest topping up the air locks.

I have already topped them back up.
Not noticed much activity. Quite possibly there should be some. Hmmm better go do some more reading and arrange them on the dining table for a day or so.
Now Vegplot -think positive... I know just where you can get the ingredients for toothpaste wine if you are interested. (Watermint, why it didn't occur to me that it would keep the mint flavour is beyond me... )

I'll have to try some DS recipies. Mine normally tastes like cat's. No matter what the ingredients they always taste the same. I made some dandelion and ginger wine once, took great care and left it to mature for three years . It was bloody awful.

I am generating stuff that could be used to power a small car (cheaper than diesel at the moment!). It comes out at 25% and tastes pretty rough and needs diluting to make it palatable.
