Alternative hand toolsI've seen a few adverts for novel type hand tools for breaking up and turning group, most of them look like the African style hoes that you swing like a mattock and seem to come in a few different weights and sizes from different places. Has anyone every tried these as an alternative to the normal spade / fork combo and are they any good?

The standard issue round here is an asada which is a triangular headed thing that you swing at the earth to break it up or can use lightly to weed with. Definitely bringing one back with us when we return to the UK, I canīt actually imagine doing it another way.
