An introNot great at writing about self, have a thing about the word 'me' but out of courtesy and if I am going to make the most of this site, then I guess I should have a go.
Becs, 41, two gorgeous girls aged 16 and 3! I know that's mad - started again. Have a smallish veg plot in the garden and lots of fruit, plum tree, raspberries, redcurrants, gooseberries, two apples, strawberries and a vine with foul little bitter grapes on - inherited.
Would love some chickens but so would our two dogs and a cat!
Together with my business partner Sally, we started Feast in 2005, we work with farmers, growers and food producers to help them promote their produce, we run hands on practical events, small marketing seminars and offer one to one help with marketing and assistance in sourcing and applying for funding to develop farm businesses.
for the first year we both had a 'day job' but since last Christmas it has taken off so well we are now full time, sadly (for me) Sally has recently moved to South Nottingham, but this is good for the business as it means we can have two Feasts and offer our services over a wider area.
We do have some large 'ish projects on the books - such as creating a market for Limestone Country Beef - conservation project in the Dales - long story - another time... but we have been known to take payment in kind! last christmas we helped with a RES Bid and received an organic turkey! so not typical consultants by any stretch of the imagination.
I hope I can contribute something to this site, would be happy to offer any marketing advice or help with funding sources or web links / networking which are probably my key strengths and if there is anyone in the South Nottingham area I am sure Sally would love to meet some like minded foodie/farmers - we are going through that difficult transition at the moment where we both think the other is just across the office then realise we are 100 miles apart!
Sorry if this got too long - will try to be more brief in future correspondence.
Could someone give me a quick lesson in how to add URL without it looking odd like this - thanks Bec

Hi Becs, welcome to the site.
Your business sounds very interesting - I shall go and have a nose around your site now!
(You had a / after the first [ URL] - that was causing the problem).
