animation

At school the children use digi blue cameras and have been making little animation films.

My olderst (10) wants to have a go at home, with lego men I think, and I wondered if we have enough stuff to do it.

My digital camera does video, as well as stills, but what software would I need to help him edit it. They use the digi blue software at school., but I do have photo shop.

The tool of choice, for me, would be animation shop. Used to come as a freebie with paint shop pro, but I don't think that it does any more. If anyone has any of the old installation discs for paint shop pro that came as a freebie (you used to pay after so many days or it stopped working), they might have animation shop.

Errm... Actually the only photo of me I could find on my work machine had me dressed up as Robin Hood. The only ones at home have me dressed up as a mummy. The only online ones I can remember seeing lately had me in full Rocky Horror gear. So no happy3

Bugger, they've started charging for animation shop. Used to be a freebie.

Definitely Windows Movie Maker. It is the only simple to use package and I think it is normally part of Office anyway.

Right, I'll have a look at that then.

Thanks

P.S. It is also the software they are likely to use at school. I've taught it to kids in 15 minutes then they are away.

Thanks

I'll show him tomorrow, then I won't see him for the rest of the weekend.

He has about 50 lego men, waiting for action!

Wonder if this might be of any interest...
