Another baby boy

Yes, I have learned earlier this evening that we now have another brother for John and Jacob. They are both here with me and mother is at the hospital. I think it has been a hard evening for both of us. Animals to feed, veg to water, kids to bath & bed on my part and a birth to cope with in Limoges! Hectic

No details as yet ... the hospital were very abrupt with their fonecall.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

So what's this one's name? James? Justin? Josh? Jarvis?

Hope there's the right number of everything in the right pace and well done.

Are John and Jacob excited about their new baby brother or are they being very cool and grown-up about it?

Porbably. Personally I would prefer it "Jerry". His middle name is gonna be James. Not heard of the books but will look it up.

Thanks for the recent congrats folks!

Been to hospital all is well. Due out on Monday.

Sorry, just got up off the floor ....

..... 3.6 kilos (or whatever that equates to) around 8lb I think?
sean

Sounds about right, good size then.
Or massive as I think of it, Ben was 2lb 4 oz.
Simon

Yes. He already has the nickname in Limoges - "Le Grand Bebe"

2lb 4 ..... he must have been tiny. Was he born early?
sean

2 months, fortunately we were living within walking distance of St George's Hospital which is the regional centre for all that stuff.
Simon

Assume all is OK now then? How old is he?
sean

Fine now, at school and five in a couple of weeks. This is what he looked like:
tahir

One of my nieces was born that sort of size, may even have been a little smaller she's 13 now, no probs at all.
moogie

Ahhh, bless, lovely baby pics. Stop it before I come over all broody.
Gertie

Hi Simon, congratulations to you all and give Zoe a big kiss and a hug from me.

You b*gger, didn't even know you were going to be a dad. Wink

He looks a cutie, how is he doing. I bet the boys love their baby brother.

Agree with Moogie, other people's babies do make me feel broody but then again and snap myself out of it Shocked

Mind you, what with Lundy's little op - it would be nothing short of a miracle Wink

Hmm. Unfamiliar with this feeling, I must say. They all look the same to me and they all come with a subtext of crying, mess and apparently carte blanche for any complete stranger to enquire in to your innermost biological secrets Sad
Northern_Lad

Someone round these parts once posted a link to a study that had been made which showed that women had the same response to baby pictures as men had to pornography. It was also very similar to taking drugs.
Bugs

I think I would prefer the drugs. Or indeed the pornography Cool

Baby is home now. All are well and good. Thanks for the well wishes. S
Gertie

Tell Zoe to put her feet up and take things easy, Simon.

One of my old bosses used to tell me his wife was still on maternity leave after having her 3rd child. When I asked him how old his kids were he said - 29, 27 and 21!!!!
Simon

Very Happy Me and her both now Wink
