Don't knock it, I used to get some great winkles from not far from Hartlepool nuclear powerstation. Elvers from the brook at Crimdon Dene just South of there too. Oddly there seemed to be no competition for them... |

Dungeness is a well known beach fishing mark and is well used so I'm not knocking it. |

I would buy it - the power station certainly would not put me off. |

I think the fact that the surrounding area is so flat and open would put me off more than the power station. I like hedgerows and trees and rolling hills - none of that around Dungeness. |

I think I'd be put off by the fact that the powerstation is probably surrounded by blazing spotlights at all hours of the day. Otherwise I'd far rather live next to that than most industrial places. |
