Anyone want a forge?Have just mucked out the shed and a forge that we have been house sitting is in need of a new home. Its big, rusty (not terminally though, just orange all over) functional and thats about it. Its the sort you'd need to stand on bricks or what have you, big metal tray, hood, not sure what else at the moment but its the basic place to put your coals and a hood affair. Made by a friend when he was doing the blacksmithing course at Hereford, (I gather one of the standard student projects is to make the forge on which you will proceed to make your fortune) he's no longer walloping metal and says I can get rid of it. 
Will attempt to get more details if anyone is seriously interested.
We actually used a similar one to make the hood over our cooker, so there are other things that can be done with them.

My BIL trained as a blacksmith, not sure he's any use for a forge though. I'll ask him next time I see him.

Would make a stonking big barbeque as well if roasting small sheep at the bottom of the garden is anyones idea of fun

I'm serious-ish. We've got an utterly crap barbie that the previous owners built, so if it would fit into the same sort of space..

Measurements, try about a metre square for the tray and hood in proportion. Pics, will need for me to extract it from behind the jumble of other shed related objects so may take a day or two. Think there are a few connecting bits as well

Ok, quick pic, you are looking at the tray on top of the upside down hood with the bit you pump air through to the left of it. 5gallon brewing bucket to the side as a size comparison. scuse the general wreckage

There is no pump, its just the metalwork, but you are welcome to have a look. We're in Mountain Ash

Aaaarrrgh - only just seen this Sally! Yes please - we'd like the forge. How much? We're coming past you on Easter Monday so could collect...but obviously only if you're not selling it to slomeone else. But yes, we would defo take it off your hands.
