Apple and Onion Jam
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg apples peeled, cored and chopped
- 1.5 kg sliced onions
- 50 ml. Olive Oil
- 300 ml. water
- 250 ml. cider vinegar
- 2.5 kg sugar
Recipe
- Mix all ingredients together and cook for thirty minutes.
- Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
- Ensure that setting point has been reached - 105 C.
- Ladle into sterilised jars and seal.
