Avian influenza
There are now some useful links giving details of how to spot Avian Influenza (AI) in birds and some background information. The info is useful for anyone who may come into close contact with birds, from shooters to poultry keepers.
From BASC:
http://www.basc.org.uk/content/basc_statement_on_avian_i
And a useful factsheet from BASC:
http://www.basc.org.uk/media/avian_flu_factsheet_2.pdf
From defra:
http://www.defra.gov.uk/animalh/diseases/notifiable/disease/avianinfluenza.htm
(Cross posted in the two relevant fora)
