balaclava knitting pattern.Does anyone have a pattern for a balaclava?I am looking for one that goes practically up to the bottem lip, over the chin. Thanks |

Hi, I've made a few balaclavas. I tend to just make them, based on a rough idea of the first one I made (which is baby-sized), so I've played around with that pattern since.
However, http://www.knitlist.com/99gift/toddler-helmet.htm is a link to a pattern for one. I can probably find more and do have some rough notes for the ones I've made if you need any help. One tip, if you're going to wing it, you'll probably need less stitches around the face than you think (every bloody time I pick up too many - you'd think I'd've learnt by now!) |
