Bank charges petitionAs most people know you are now able to claim back all the charges your bank has made on your account in the last 6 years and for some people I know it has been £1000s.What a lot of people dont know is that there is an investigation going on and all claims have been suspended but the banks can still charge you so its unfair, you cant get your money back but they can keep charging it. Well today I got a link from www.moneysavingexpert.com ( fantastic site) to a petition they have set up to change some of the problems including a clause that if the charges are found to be unfair then everything they have charged will be automaticly refunded with intrest instead of how it is at the moment and you have to claim. have a look and read through the petition then if you want to sign it as i think it will be a good thing http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/BankCharter/ |

I put in a claim for my charges and because the bank made me an offer just before the investigation started I was lucky and still got it |

Thanks for the link. I'm currently arguing the toss with NatWorst over 700 quid. Idiots think a solicitors letter will make me pee my pants and pay up. Fools. Har har har. |
