Beef and HoneyNot much about at the moment (in the New Forest we need rain!). Found several of the the usual (for this season) Dark Ceps plus a pew other bits and bobs. However, also found this nice combination of Honey Fungus and Beefsteak Fungus growing on the same old Oak.
I think that the colours are really beautiful.

Yes, there has been and is an 'interesting' north/south divide going on with the weather. Will be interesting to see what this does to the autumnal fruiting of fungi.

Yes, it was basically just a trunk - hardly any branches or leaves left.
