Bees in the house...

OK only three, but that's more than I've seen in the garden so far this year and it's not like we've got loads of windows open with flowers to attract them in... no flowers in the house at all as far as I can think.

So what are they playing at? Might they be scouts looking for a nesting site?
Mistress Rose

They could be, or they could be on flowers directly outside the window and getting lost. We have to keep evicting bees at the moment as I think they may be on the wisteria outside the window.

They've coming in through the first floor skylight, there is a viburnum growing on the fence below; do they tend to go over tall things rather than around?
Pilsbury

Yes they go over, if you need to site a hive somewhere with foot traffic its suggested to put a fence infront of the entrance so they gain altitude fast.
Mistress Rose

Agree with Pilsbury. There could be a bee hive the other side of the fence.

I think I would have noticed one.
