Beetle ID

Saw this today thought it was a devil's coachman...looking on the internet now I'm not quite so sure.

It was eating the small yellow flowers of creeping clover ( not sure of it's correct name )

Any ideas please ?

I think its a devil's coachhorse. I've seen one about recently too.

That's what I thought originally, still do I think, but the images online appear much duller without the blue sheen.

There seems to be quite a few about this year.

I think it's call coachman/coachhorse/ footman.
