Best age to slaughter geese? Our pair of geese have produced diddly squat in the way of goslings in the 18 months we've had them. She lays eggs but they don't come to anything (despite being told they've raised young in the past when we bought them) We're thinking of hatching some in the incubator for the Christmas market (do I get a prize for the 1st mention of the C word? ) What age is the optimum for eating- geese? We'll have to get the timing right.

I think they're Embden
When you say geese to raise Countryman, do you mean we hatch them and you have them as kind of goosey weaners? The jargon escapes me
