Better year all round so far ...... having had 2 disastrous years in the veggie garden due to a combination of the weather, my back, and my pesky chickens breaking-in, I'm having a better year this year  SO FAR.
Peas (sugarsnap) are coming on really well, 3rd sowing in, first lot just starting to fatten in the pods
Beans (dwarf French) are flowing, will be fruiting soon
Sweetcorn (super-sweet) is growing fast
Courgettes (normal and yellow) growing fast and starting to flower
Summer squash (don't know variety, were a present from a friend who'd grown too many) flowering like crazy
Tomatoes going great guns, cherry variety is fruiting, "normal" size ones are starting to flower (keeping a VERY close eye for signs of blight!)
Peppers flowering
Chilli flowering
Feels GOOD

They'll certainly keep you going! We're currently pondering whether or not to have raised beds in our new garden. I can't wait to start buying seeds and growing things
