blanching dandelionsI tried this last year using the recommended flowerpot over a plant method and found that the leaves had been completely stripped by a large family of woodlice... grrr

I used to use a saucer. Now that I own a dog I'm less keen on lawn-based foraging.

Do you find that blanched ones are tastier? I've never been convinced.

Milder and more tender IMHO. The tender bit being more of an advantage.

the ones under my allottment carpets are ok , very yellow soft and mild
i quite like full on bitter ones as part of a browse .
