I take Arvo's example and let them waffle on before saying don't know why you're calling, this must be a scam as we use linux
(unfortunately one laptop here HAS been attacked- when sorted it WILL be on linux at last, like this computer)

We got that phonecall while we were in the middle of a powercut. Barry went along with it for a wee while, before telling them it was abviously a scam since we had no power.

I just don't let them get to me, but if they have a virus in their windows it's probably a bit of rot. I can arrange to come and survey them with a view to replacing the offending units, do they want timber or uPVC? They put the phone down on me because I'm stupid! Have not a call for a while now, I love my macs even if I have to run windows in a virtual machine because some of our software is windows only.
