blue/green/red??screen death?Ok, so over the years I've had blue-screen-death a few times, but in the last couple of months I've had, for no obvious reason, episodes of green screen death and today for the first time, red screen death.
What makes it change colours? Why blue, green or red when it crashes?

Is it a flat screen? A red screen is often the harbinger of failure in the inverter that powers the lighting for the screen. After a while the screen goes black, but under a strong light you can see that the PC itself is still working. It is fixable

laptop, but thats a good heads up, I'll start making contingency plans for a replacement
