Raining here now, but no wind, thank goodness (the forecast says 63mph  ). I'm tired and achey, so not going to be too ambitious today.

slum gum is the yucky stuff left, once you have heated your wax, for the first time.
I put cut out frames into the burco, with a rain water, then turn on to melt. It is a bit like rendering fat. Once coo the wax all rises, and the slumgum is the resultant stuff underneath The rubbish will be dead bees, pollen, wire, general debris. It is blck, usually, and a bit smelly, and I should have done it before I went away but I didn't.

additions to list: phone ARLA (Association of Residential Lettings Agents) to find out what, if any, protection I have if the letting agency goes bust as members they have insurance to cover the situation
check that the agency actually is a member of ARLA they are listed online
phone Sue check my weight no loss, but no gain either
humbly apologise to cat for disagreeable weather which is ALL MY FAULT apparently
