Bob the Downsized BuilderMy apologies if this has been discussed before.I saw two episodes of the new series of Bob the Builder yesterday. He has moved to the country and is living in a caravan while he builds his new eco-friendly house in Sunflower Valley, where he will be growing sunflowers with his parents. The caravan is powered by solar panels and he is growing his own vegetables and keeping chickens. Bob's new motto is 'Reduce, Reuse, Recycle'. The programme is a bit cringeworthy at times, but my children like it so it might be getting the message across. |

Sounds great. I'd love to see it. Surely there's room for a children's gardening and cookery programme too (more than Blue Peter anyway). |

A Suffolk exile in my office informs me it is quite true, she saw a "behind the scenes" report in the Radio Times, with the building of Sunflower Valley. And the farmer's jumper is made out of a sock.

It's very true - I happened to catch the episode yesterday where they installed the solar panels on the caravan. | ||||

Song needs new lyrics now.... Bob the builder.. Can he fix it ? Only if he can get it from a sustainable source,locate one in a skip or use something else entirely free... Doesnt really scan does it ?
