Butchering a sheep. On the off chance that I'm about to be given a lamb by my neighbour, anyone got a link to an Idiot's Guide To Cutting Up A Sheep, please? Or any handy tips...
Done pigs, I'm thinking similar, but smaller?

One thing to remember on cutting up all animals is that is sooo much easier when its been killed at least teh day before & is very cold so the meat & fat has "set"

We hung ours in an outbuilding overnight when we killed them.
I was fortunate to have a friend that had butchered sheep before come round and help. I'd recommend having someone else on hand if possible. It ain't difficult but they can be heavy, ours were.
I reckon doing a sheep is about ten times easier than a pig so you'll be ok.
