CACSContagious Appliance Collapse Syndrome
It's one out, all out in our world
Oven, microwave, tumble dryer, outside light, dishwasher, room light, 30" photo print processor, Apple Mac/ A3 print scanner combination - all at various levels of on the blink< - > dead in the past two weeks.
When those letters offering warranty renewal come through the letter box do they emit some kind of gamma ray that makes everything within 10 yards malfunction?

I reckon things are fitted with a chip that explodes just before the warranty runs out.

We've already had it, wasn't much fun with no hot water, washing machine, dishwasher or oven, don't want it back.

I think you should get in touch with you electric supplier as it sounds like your having power surges possibly an High resistance joint outside your house. Are your neighbours having the same problems?. My dad got a new video from powergen after surges from the local sub station. I was told that the voltage in a house can swing between 230-250 volts.

no this is in three different locations, only the humans are a constant - must be all that negative energy we're picking up from the Today programme in the mornings.

Actually Chez, you're not wrong - the microwave and dishwasher don't go out of guarantee till the end of this month - see, even my malfunctions are malfunctioning
