Can't believe I'm going to do this...

...but I'm going to listen to Radio 2 without being forced to.

Generally it appears to a collection of 5% good modern music, 10% great clasic music, 20% middling stuff, 20% dire tripe and 45% pratteling pillocks who should shot for crimes against broadcasting.

To show how good they can be, though, they're hosting a live gig by one of the biggest bands in the world, hosted by two of the most knowledgable DJs around.

No, I got through 15 minutes of intollerable pap that was something called Demond Harrington (?). Sounded like something from the fifties.

Could be worse. Could be Radio 1.

Good gad, no. There's a cretin been employed by 6music that is a wannabe radio 1 DJ. There's even a campaign running to get him shot on air (maybe exagerating there, but he does deserve it). Anyhoo, it means that we have to tune into something else for 3 hours, and someone put on radio 1. The only reason she is still living is that she's pregnant and probably suffering a major hormone imbalance.

I had an awful shock a few years ago. I inadvertently tuned into a radio station. They were playing some great music. Rolling Stones and such like. Then my ghast was flabbered when they announced it was Radio 2.
When I was a kid Radio 2 was populated with old men like 'cheerful Charlie Chester'. Now they sometimes play music I like. Have they changed or is it me?

Sorry, that doesn't make any sence (unless you're talking Paint it Black)
