Can you still get embellisher (needle felt) attachments forsewing machines?
I've been playing on an embellisher at uni and I like it but I don't have the squids to buy one I know you used to be able to buy a needle felting foot for certain sewing machines but google is thowing up nothing.

Ooooh, well done sally
The 38 quid one worries me somewhat with the mention of foam. However I wouldn't spend 100 on one.

You can still get them but do be warned, normal sewing machines are not meant to have that much fluff in the bobbin compartment so it can cause problems if you don't keep defluffing it etc. (Or so said the sewing machine shop lady )

Is it temporary conversion? or a permanent one?
I think it's an excellent way of getting a low cost embellisher

It's a temporary conversion. You just have to be careful to clean all of the fluff out of the bobbin compartment very carefully. Cos there will be a lot of it. But yes..it is a very cheap way to get an embellishing machine. Not all machines have them tho so you'd have to see if there was one available that's compatible with your machine.
