Category changes

I notice some jiggery-pokery with the categories- the birds & the bees each now have their own category, so is there perchance going to be room for a section now for people, or are families & parenting etc still considered too far out of Downsizers remit to warrant their own section?

The old livestock section had become a bit too big and several people had asked to split it up a bit so now we have poultry, bees and one for everything else.

Are there many threads that would be better off in a people/parenting section?

I recall plenty down the years but am struggling to find them easily because they're hidden in chat & other places with tenuous links.

Recently; dpack's auntie, various people becoming parents & subsequent posts about joys & despairs, swine flu. Maybe not that many but not easy to find (if you didn't know the forum you're unlikely to find it).

Right. 'Community Matters' is now 'Community and Family Matters'. We'll move stuff as and when people bump it though 'cos I'm not wading through the 98 squillion threads in 'Chat'. Smile
